Chuck Askerneese and the Untouchables

Property Master Chuck Askerneese, PMG, who is currently mastering Bel Air Season 3 and has also worked on such projects as This is Us, War for the Planet of the Apes, and The Ridiculous 6, is also a member of The Untouchables. He grew up in LA with family friends Clyde Grimes - the band leader, guitar player and main writer of songs - his brother Marty, and Jerry Miller, who is the other lead singer for our band. Formed in 1981, The Untouchables is America's first ska band.


The band performed "The General" in the 1984 comedy The Party Animal, and they appeared as a scooter gang in the movie Repo Man. They have released six albums and concerts with The B-52's, Black Uhuru, Bow Wow Wow, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fishbone, No Doubt and X all over California with the local performances drawing up to 1,500 people.


Beyond, the Untouchables have played around the world including Japan and Europe including large festivals of 120,000 people in Den Hag, Netherlands, and 350,000 at the Glastonbury Festival England, Reggae Sunsplash in Hamburg, Germany, and Paris, France.
