Robert Anthony Shipman is a Toronto-based Props Master whose career spans both performance and production.

He first trained to be an actor at the George Brown Theatre School and later at the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA) in England.

While waiting for his next acting role, and always wanting to keep busy, he found himself loading sets onto cube trucks for a procedural show called Top Cops. Working as a Set Dresser for 9 years he transitioned into the world of props.
Shipman rose through the ranks to establish himself as a respected Props Master in the Canadian film and television industry. His credits include productions such as Titans (2018), Reign (2013), Seven Veils (2023), Sullivan's Crossing (2023), and Doc (2025). Known for his pleasant personality, creativity and attention to detail, he has contributed to a wide range of productions across multiple genres.
