The entertainment industry can be an insanely stressful place to work with volatile personalities, intense schedules, unrealistic deadlines, and working conditions that leave workers unsure how to cope or where they can safely and securely voice concerns or learn strategies to manage their own health.
The PMG has developed a program to help share resources, build a private support network, and provide a place for film workers to seek personalized aid and management strategies.
Sessions are available via zoom biweekly and open to all who work in the industry at no cost. NDAs will be required of every attendee to protect every participant's identity and any discussion of sensitive workplace issues.
Sessions are conducted by a Licensed Psychotherapist, JK van der Gaag, MSW, LCSW. Available as a part of the Phil Shea Mental Health Program, the Property Masters Guild is glad to offer a Psychological Support and Education Series.
