It is set in Minnesota and North Dakota in the fall of 2019. It stars Juno Temple as Dorothy "Dot" Lyon, a seemingly typical Midwestern housewife living in Scandia, Minnesota, whose mysterious past comes back to haunt her after she inadvertently lands herself in hot water with the authorities.

During a very difficulty shooting schedule the team was able to put out some very stylized props. Fitting in with the Noah Hawley and Cohen Brothers design and feel is of utmost importance. Having done 4 of the 5 Fargo seasons, this is always paramount. Seeing their vision through and being able to be a part of it was absolutely incredible. Adding in easter eggs from other Cohen Brothers movies has always been a highlight. As well as dealing with the varied star power of cast helps be able to mould a better world for the season.
